Or they ask you to pay them monthly with promises of saving your home, just say no!  Beware of Foreclosure Scams. It may seem like the most affordable solution, but more often than not these people are not licensed attorneys. And they are not even capable of defending the lawsuit for you.  As a result, this may lead to you losing your home entirely with little or no legal recourse.
